La DdC and the Presidential Nouple
A political photo-novel: La DdC enshrines the nouple in the Constitution, becomes president and establishes the first universal presidential nouple at the Élysée.

After having the nouple enshrined in the Constitution, the Duchess of Crestignac becomes President of the Republic. Her official portrait is installed in every town hall in France. True to her doctrine, she decides to lead by example, forming the first presidential nouple around Hervélien Auguste.
The visual treatment must always remain rigorously serious, photorealistic and close to genuine political reportage. The absurdity comes solely from the doctrine, the protocol and the administrative language—never from visual caricature.
1. Enshrining the Nouple in the Constitution
La DdC presents the reform to the institutions.
She receives representatives of the first nouple.
A commission adapts the family record book, adding as many pages as necessary.

The first official nouple marriage is celebrated.
2. La DdC at the Élysée
La DdC is elected President of the Republic.
Her official portrait is produced immediately.
It is sent to every town hall in France.
In each town hall, protocol stipulates that it be installed “between Marianne and the fire extinguisher”.
3. The First Presidential Nouple
Hervélien Auguste remains the longstanding partner, ensuring dynastic continuity.
The president then surrounds herself with a young rapper, a young adult punk woman with a dog, gay couples and partners from a diverse range of backgrounds and origins.
The nouple becomes an institutional demonstration of universality. Even the young punk woman’s dog seems to enjoy the status of associate spouse.
La DdC is not cheating on Hervélien Auguste: she is constitutionally supplementing him. Infidelity becomes a public service mission, marriage a national infrastructure and trust a republican obligation.
