LET’S EDUCATE, LET’S BARGEBOUILLE!
Monsieur Buskin continues his educational mission: rather than combat falling standards, the École de Crestignac now intends to accompany their descent and calmly prepare the Bargebouilles of tomorrow.

CRESTIGNAC — EDUCATION
Following Let’s Praline! Let’s Educate!, Monsieur Buskin, Crestignac’s Minister of Education, continues his work.
This time, the minister has turned his attention to a question that has long troubled families, teachers and, to a lesser extent, pupils: are educational standards falling?
For Monsieur Buskin, the question was ill-posed.
“Standards are not falling,” he explained. “They are moving downwards. We must therefore accompany them.”
An important distinction.
For the ministry rejects any approach that assigns blame. If a pupil is descending, the School cannot decently remain at the top and ask them to climb back up.
It must descend with them.
The new educational doctrine thus rests on a simple principle: gradually adapt expectations to observed abilities, then adapt abilities to the previously adapted expectations.
Monsieur Buskin sums it up:
« The School must leave no child behind on the path to becoming the [Bargebouille](https://dico.crestignac.com/mot/bargebouille) within. »
The initial results appear encouraging.
During a recent cultural outing, several CrestigniaKind declared that they had “totally vibed with Pompudoi’s paintings”, an episode recounted in YO, I TOTALLY VIBED WITH POMPUDOI.
A few days later, faced with a technical difficulty following the 5G network outage described in 5G PROTEST OVER, one of them reportedly declared:
For the ministry, these results demonstrate that it would be premature to conclude that language is collapsing.
“They may no longer be speaking French exactly,” Monsieur Buskin acknowledges. “But they are producing sentences. Some are even long.”
The ministry now wishes to better prepare pupils for adult life.
The curriculum could therefore gradually incorporate the skills essential to the future Bargebouille: attending a meeting without altering its outcome, requesting a briefing to prepare for another briefing, producing a document nobody had expressed any need for and, when the situation demands it, postponing a decision pending information that will be requested at a later date.
The aim, however, is not to impose a model.
In Crestignac, everyone remains free to become the Bargebouille that best reflects who they are.
The School’s role is simply to give them the means to do so.
The people of Crestignac will naturally follow this development with all their characteristic restraint.
For a Crestignacian observes, but does not judge.
Then again.
La DdC nevertheless wished to commend the work of its minister:
Monsieur Buskin declared himself deeply touched.
He is expected to present the practical details of this reform shortly.
No upward movement is envisaged at this stage.
Let’s educate. Let’s bargebouille.

The situation has not changed. That is proof that we have it under control.
